Sunday January 10th 2010 - 8am onwards

All money taken on the day will be going to a local charity - http://www.menphys.org.uk/

Quote
There was an old gentleman at the top of Nick's (R-Tech proprietor) road who used to do his house up in a billion lights and dress up as Santa, then open his house up as a groto during the lead up to xmas. He was on the local TV every year and made £1000s for the charity. But sadly 2 years ago he passed away, so no more santas groto for the local kid and £1000s less each year for Menphys.

ROLLING ROAD SHOOTOUT

As many cars as we can fit in - 30 minimum!
£25 for 3 power runs with printout and engine diagnostic scan.

If you want to put your car on the dyno, reply to this post. If you're 100% certain on attending include the word confirmed to be added to the final list. If you are on the list and can't make it - let me know ASAP by private message. You will need to arrive as early as possible on the day. We will do a quick pre-check of your car including oil level and tyre pressures but please let us know of any running issues, knocks and rattles, funny noises or misfires BEFORE it gets run up to 120mph in 4th gear on the rolling road

Lowered cars attention - The R-Tech rolling road is a tuning dyno with a pair of large rollers and the front wheels sit very deep between them to maximise the contact patch. As a general rule a Mk4 1.8T lowered 50mm will JUST get on, 40mm for a TDI (lower sump). If you're slammed on coilovers - wind them up the day before :afro:

TONA VALETING 1 GUY 2 BUCKETS £10 CARWASH

Guy from TONA Valeting will be on site with his pressure washer, 2 buckets, wash mitts.. and whatever else these detailing guys use to give your car a quick going over. Obviously for a tenner you aren't going to get any full detailing session, but a good spruce up and advice from the 'hexperts'. No need to sign up to this it'll be on a first come first serve basis
