Hi all its been a while. Ive been offered a mk1 golf gti 8v today by a guy a know the car is very solid and ive been told it runs good aswell. He said he'll take 1k for it could i have a few of your opinions on weather or not to buy? Thanks

1k can seem a bargain but check it carefully, body needs to be good ala surface rust only, if it needs sills walk away, any structural work walk away, check alignment and gaps on panels, body work over engine, engines are cheaper
