Caddy MK3 Question

what are the widest wheels that can be fitted to a mk3 caddy (2011) without requiring rolled arches?

Depends on offset and if it's lowered.

17x8's using 215/40 tyres well thats what I had on my Mk3 Golf

It really depends on the offset of the wheels, if the offset is wrong then even narrow wheels could foul the suspension or poke too far.

17x8's using 215/40 tyres well thats what I had on my Mk3 Golf

MK3 caddy is based on MK5 golf so comparing it to a MK3 golf is pointless.
