Best old school game you ever played

Gran turismo 2. I even bort a playstation 1 last year to play it again 

loved that too. Even bought an action replay to mod hack the game code to change cars to like 1400bhp and 4 wheel drive etc. 

No one gonna mention Gauntlet?  Class and helped me stay in the arcade for hours on just 10p
