I bought my ps3 back in 2008 for GT5 prologue, I played it and kept it till actual game came out (after 100 years). Played the real game and when I saw forza 3 gameplay, I traded my ps3 for xbox

I'm a big GT fan but with 5 I was both disappointed and pleased. Pleased because graphics are great, engine sounds are very good I think and general game engine is great. But it lacked modification parts and some of the cars physics are just too confusing. I remember GT2 you could upgrade so many things, including brake discs, pads and hoses. However in GT5 with brakes all you can do is change the bias
And car physics being confusing I mean as in does a Ferrari Enzo really understeer on soft racing rubber at 60mph? Come on my golf doesn't understeer at 60mph on road tires!

Forza everytime, my ps3 would be gone if the other half didn't want it as a BR player...

I couldn't stand gt5, I loved it you could buy so many second hand cars like the s3 mk1 and the old polo gti, but when I raced them, they just felt exactly the same and so did many other European cars and that just wound me up lol.

Forza is better in regards to scenery and detail but GT5 is a far more realistic driving experience and much harder.

I've just started playing gt5. Played all the other games and its pretty much the same but with better graphics. I just had a spin in the red bull x2011 car and its seriously bonkers. Definitely need a steering wheel to drive it. Still loving the gt5 and can't wait fir gt6 later.
Haven't aged forza. Is it more arcade like compared to gt5?
