« on: 07 October 2014, 16:48 »
HI,
My mk7 Golf SE model only has a radio fitted which i want to swap for std vw mk7  radio/cd player , is it just a case of purchasing a second hand radio/cd dash unit or a lot more involved will everything still work from the steering wheel ??

Are you sure you haven't got a single disc CD player in the glovebox? It should also have Ipod/phone and USB connections. You can fit 100's of albums onto a decent sized memory stick and control them all from the radio/steering wheel controls.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Just guessing, but as he hasn't answered my reply, he may well have found the cd player in the glovebox, along with the Media In connection.
