tips on cheap car insurance?

as above realy,

i know this year has been bad for car insurances in the bham area, my bro in laws was about £700 last year, this year it has doubled to just over £1400.
so now my insurance is due next month, i wanted to know how to make it cheaper? i have a driveway, a garage and can get a garage away from home.
so any tips on making it as cheap as poss?

p.s i dont do many miles. about less then 3k realy :undecided:

Limited milage policy, kept on driveway.

You as primary driver (NOT NAMED - as this is fraud), maybe adding extra drivers will drop it a few quid.

Move away from Birmingham.

Shop around is probably the best bit of advice you'll get.  Check out the club insurers as well  :cool:

Check out a Classic car policy with Heritage insurance based in Birmingham. Do a Google search and they quote online. They cover cars aged 15 or over so you may just qualify depending on the registration date of your motor.
They are a very helpful company and competitive  :cool:

Try 1st central. I just posted a reply to someone on another topic - they sorted me out for £200 less than my direct line renewal
because sometimes when you look in your rear view mirror, you want something other than a kev'd up Corsa trying to suck your tailpipe....

brentacre over £1000 with mods declared. Clean license no refusals or anything like that.

The trouble with being imaginative when performing an insurance quotation is that it could lead to invalid insurance cover..
