Title: NVGOTEV 8INCH AFTERMARKET STEREO - QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING

Good Morning All,

Recently brought a MK5 Gti and fell in love, only issue is the stereo.

Would this fit directly and have no power issues?

I know some aftermarket stereos have issues with battery drain and stuff but the stereo mentions the following: Easy Installation and Operation Two Power Wiring Harness ( Compatible with high-and low-equipped models),

Does this mean I can just fit it and have no battery drain issues?

Had this for around 2 years in my mk6 GTI, and I loved it, especially the OEM look of it and the features it provided like app-connect.
