Whole rewire

I've wired up a megasquirt ecu, so should I find a whole car stereo re-wire ok to do. My radio wires is just one big mess with connections everywhere so am just thinking of re-doing it all, it's got front speakers. Some reason it has a big red cable going to the back from the engine bay, guessing this is for a sub or amp!

yeah i would do a re-wire mate. old cables must be rubbish !

yeah if theres a thick red cable going from the engine to the boot it would be the power cable for the amp,connects to the battery. so leave it in if your planning on installing a sub
