I'm new to the group but have a pretty weird problem with my MK6 Gti.
It's only got 90 km on a 2012 and has been properly serviced and very well looked after but sometimes it won't start if its been left on a slight incline pointing downwards or after having been parked in a multistorey carpark for a few hours.
It had a P0172 code (engine running too rich) coming up previously but I rectified that with a cleaner additive to the fuel 500 miles ago but this not starting issue has happened before. I had it to VW and they said it is more than likely a carbon build up and I need to replace some things but I'm not a car guy so I don't know if I'm being ripped off so any help would be greatly appreciated.
