I have been offered a set of 312mm carriers from a Mk1 Leon Cupra, would these fit the mk4 golf no problem? The Leon Cupra isnt listed at the start of the thread for cars to get the carriers from
So Far - R-tech Stage 1 Re-Map 190hp 225ftlbs, Forge 007P DV, Forge Silicone TIP, Pipercross Panel Filter,  Powdercoated Anthracite Montreal IIs, Custom Cat Back.  Shopping List - Coilovers, Hubcentric Spacers, Front and Rear ARB, Big Brake Set-Up...

dear all

have a chipped to 180hp mk4 agu. i am looking to replace the brakes as they are on their way out.
is it really worth the extra £100 or so for 312mm carriers?
or will a quality upgrade to pagid disks and pads all round be good enough? along with a fluid change?

it looks like aftermarket tat on there at the mo

Quality discs pads and fluid will be more than adequate TBH
