1) R-tech, followed by REVO followed by A.N other
2) Round ones seem to work best
3) Pipercross panel filter is a better, cheaper alternative
4) Over-priced tat.  Find a local custom exhaust place to put something together and pocket the difference.  I saved over £50 by going non-Milltek

You going to raise and lower constantly?  If not then get a decent set of shocks and springs

R32 bodykit = nice but expensive

Rip out the rear seats, sound proofing, spare wheel, go on a diet etc etc.  Weight is your number one enemy

Think that about covers it

pretty much but you did for get the DSG intake along with the piper cross filter

whats the DGS intake? got a link?

thanks

just a thought but you couldn't afford the 180 and you mention your age, was this because of insurance?

as im trading in my 2.0 GTI i cant afford to put that much more towards a new car unfortuantely :( ive looked on auto trader for under £4000 and they all seem to be 150bhp and under 75k miles. So seems good plus the insurance was a lil bit more but would be happy to pay it if i could find one for sale. Maybe one will turn up but not counting on it as i want to get it from a garage and always feel a bit unsure getting it privately :(

was thinking of looking on places like these with one already tuned but think the insurance would be sky high.

Also been looking at ones with under 80k miles but i keep reading places where people have got them with 100+k miles on them and they are fine. But would i be having to spend more on changing older parts etc as i would prefre the money to be spent on upgrades?

the 180 compared to the 150 is an extra gear change if your having it mapped and a more fancier  body kit.

i paid 4200 for mine, mint cond with 62k on the clock. Best car yet :)
