Does the light illuminate for a second when the ignition is turned on?

I would guess it's a VAG only job as it's a safety feature...
the code reader my work has turned mine off after sorting my wiring not vag-com though

I have this problem!
I have s3 seats on mk4 frames and my airbag light is on.
I'm not sure what colour goes to what?
And do I need to soldier them together???

The wires underneth are straight forward, Wazzer has posted the correct wires to which wires earlier in this topic.

So the fault code is back...It will go away for like a day if I clear it on VAGCOM but then re appears...

Says the resistance is too high somewhere!?  :undecided:

Sounds like a dodgy connection to me, as that's the message I got when the plug had worked itself loose. How did you connect the wires? Are you sure the wires were all in good condition?
