If I was in the habit if kerbing wheels often obviously I wouldn't get them done but as this is the first and hopefully last time,£110 in 24 years ain't bad.I was only recommending a good repairer in the north west for fellow members, sorry.

Mate, why are you apologising?  I think it's commendable that you want to keep your car looking good, most of us on hear feel the same, I'm sure.  But for those us with a (much) poorer track record on kerbing wheels  :embarrassed: it would just be too costly to refurb each time

I've read much good comments about Lepson's but would sooner stay local to me.I can't help it,I think its cos we've had the car since new.I suppose if you buy a second hand car,you expect the odd knock on it so any further knocks don't really matter.£110 is sod all nowadays, bargain!
Anyway an alternative to Lepson's guys&girls.

That's good to know Andy. Stockport is that bit closer to me. Lepsons is a bit of a trek.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Recommendations are always helpful.  When I do get mine done, it'll be Lepsons for me as they're only 30 miles away

Spit & Polish are good too! Get mixed reviews online, but refurbed my Diamond Cut M3 wheels spot on!

Will be using them for the Monzas when I decide to get them done.

All I done today to the GTI was install V9 maps!

Clean it tomorrow if weather holds off!

removed the exhaust which spiderman bought. car looks pretty ordinary without the milltek but never mind.

also took it to hemsley and tested out my gopro hero 3 camera, which i got for track days for the clio.

tried a few angles outside the car. impressive bit of kit!
