Here's my project black gti mkII. Has been 6 months of joy working on it, improving it and learning too!

Short of a full respray and fixing the little dings and chips that a twenty year old car has, I reckon this is as good as it will look.

Paint has been given a full machine polish to bring some shine back to it

Altitude needs sorting soon...

Pictures flatter it - there are a few car park dings and small chips on the panels, but like I say, without a full respray, that's as good as it will get

Next jobs? FK coilovers & replacement topmounts are sitting in the boot, I've got a replacement battery tray and slam panel to go in, and tidy up the engine bay - I've started replacing bolts & radiator hangers with chromed ones, new scuttle & ECU covers, new expansion tank, and a few other replacement bits

A few pics of my old 8v gti from 2004. Owned it for 7 years and loved it. I saw it about a year after I parted company and it was wrecked The new owner told me it was stolen twice after I sold it, battered and bruised looking also. What a shame  BUT when I had it, it was awesome. It never let me down.
