15s with proxes then, instead of wasting money on stickers.

Not really wastin as I can probs get them for free and it's a bit of extra payback for JV and Co and all this sites help over the years.

No idea. As far as I know the guys who've built and run this car over the last few years did it. Will find out more when I pick it up.

It's a small world though as I vaguely know the fella from back in my mini days.

fair play matey, when you want to upgrade the seats (and you will) let me know as i have accounts with recaro, cobra and corbeau so should be able to sort you out something light and supportive.

All that sort of stuff can come next year mate. For now it'll do as is. May only plans are small bumpers and back to standard rear lights and a standard GTi grill. Oh and need to pick up some rims with road tyres. Do 14" GTi steels fit over these brakes?
