Spent a bit of time getting my hands dirty on the inside over the weekend.
Feel it's made a big difference.
Managed to get a load of grime off the interior plastics and glass..

Got the metal polish and wire wool on the go for the exhaust pipes..

Car had no mats - not sure why. Ordered a set from VW which arrived next day.

Ta!
Will take some before / after paint photos.
I am really enjoying driving it - but I am a bit concerned it won't work for us as a family car. I currently have a Merc E350 estate (and 3 young children) and we tend to load up to the max with bikes / climbing kit / general equipment and stuff like that. Just not sure the Golf is going to be big enough - and living in London, I'm only prepared to operate 1 car. It's a real hoot - just hope it can cope with all our cr@p.......!!

The E350 is a big car!
Good luck with the change, you might need a trailer
