So with most of the outside bodywork done thought I would make a start on the inside so out with the front seats.

Next was to give the inside a going over with a wire brush attachment on the drill, only a couple of little surface rust spots.

Then went crazy with the zink spray, that stuff gets everywhere.

Then some undercoat.

That was it for that day.

Up early and keen to get cracked on, also took delivery of my new bumper.

Spent most the morning cleaning the over spray off the inside of the car, oops.
Did not want to repeat so made sure I covered everything.

Next was the oak green spray followed by a clear lacquer.

Was pleased with the way it's come out.

Dint seem to get much done crappy weather and had sore knees and arse cheeks from spending the last couple of days in my car.

And that brings us upto today  so this mornings list of things to do.
Fit new aerial.
Remove stereo
Fit new door leavers
Fit new washer jets
Fit new boot struts

First job fit new boot struts, easy joy not sticking anymore.

Next was the washer jets

Then it was the door handles now this was not as easy but got there. And also found out why the passenger door struggles to close.

Then it was time to fit new aerial  now this was a pain in the arse, first job was to take out stereo and the new keys that I ordered to take it out with dint work so had to try a different approach.

Tryed to run the aerial wire along the floor of the car as I dint want to disturb the roof lining as its in mint condition but wouldn't reach :undecided: so had to run it under the roof lining. After lots of pushing and shoving I got it in place with no damage

While doing the door handles I noticed how battered the drivers door card is from water leaking in so tryed a bit of a quick fix with wood glue and clamps

Last job of the day was going to be drill the roof and bolt the new aerial in place but the weather put an end to that. So that's were we are at the moment, will be keeping up to date as I go along now.
Thanks for looking.

Pic of me new steering wheel but not keen.
