Winter washing!
« on: 27 November 2010, 14:39 »
The joys of freezing fingers and toes are upon us again! Just tried to wash my car and look what happened: Sorry for the poor pics, taken with my crappy camera off my phone

Ended up washing it with warm water and moving it up the road into the sun to dry it before the water froze! All tucked up in the garage now!

On a different note, chavvy bloke in my girlfriends apartment building has a nice R32 but i've never seen it clean... Look at the wheels!

Why does he deserve such a nice car?!

Ooh that doesn't look fun at all!
Having access to a unit when it's cold really does make life so much easier!

I hate car cleaning in winter, it's way too cold. The car will have to remain dirty as there's no way I'm getting a chill.

found a solution today after the pressure washer freezing up, obviously using a hose was no good, so we just used lots of buckets of hot water, lol, ok, so its not the best, but the car is clean till i use it next...

(ag fast glass froze up as well)

Guy - how clean are you getting cars with the pressure washer? I always end up hand washing afterwards.

sparkling!

i use hazsafe as a pre wash... you will always need to clean with a mitt afterwards but bear in mind a pressure washer will remove the majority of surface dirt so you are minimising swirls!
