'Yellow DRL's'

Hi all, has anyone changed the little bulbs in the front that are on all the time? I hate their yellow glow....

If you've done something can you give advice/linky please?

Thanks,

Jim

If you mean the DRLs. Then they can be switched off.

Its in the user manual or do a search, sorry i can't remember off hand how to switch them off but I switched mine off day one.

I was to keep them on but don't want that 1980's headlight look

Hopefully someone has a few good ideas  :nerd:

Likewise, I switched mine off. Can't remember how to do it now but it was very easy and quick. It's in the manual and involves using the indicator stalk I think.
Evil looking things, the yellow DRLs completely ruin the look of the car.

I don't think there is a replacement bulb available yet, still, I mean the mk6 has only been in production for 2 years now; not much to ask is it?

Ahhh, if only I had xenons

If you search on the net for H15 upgrade there's loads of "super white" options available.

You sure about that Doc - only thing I've seen is a blue filter which fits over the bulb to give a whiter light...
