faulty front passenger door on vw bora tdi - vag.com fault codes help

 the car is a vw 1.9 tdi bora-2004 model.

the front passenger door has deveoped the following faults-

if i lock the car while sitting inside it by pressing the lock button to lock all doors -the front passenger door does not lock as the lock tab pops up.

also if i open the front passenger door,the puddle light does not come on.

also the car will not recognise that the front passenger door is open and will lock all four doors even if the front passenger door is left open.

vag com showed the following fault codes-

00933- electric window motor passenger side (V148)-sporadic -no or incorrect basic setting/adaptation.

01332-door control module passenger side (J3387)-STATIC -FAULTY

00929-Locking module for front passenger side(F221)-static implausible signal.

i cleared these three codes and only code 00929 came up straight away.

can someone help me make sense of these faults?

thanks for that link -so it looks like it could be a faulty front passenger door lock module.
i am going to purchase one from ebay and get my indespendent scpecialist to fit it.
why do they have to make this job so labour intensive??

About an hour or 90 minutes I would say

my mechanic ahs told me it is as fiddly job and has quoted me 35 for labour charges-so cannot complain .

£35??   Bit of a bargain that

only because he has known me a long time and i told and educated him on an autel vag405 scan tool which he has bought on my recommendation and will help him in his business.

the passenger door control proved faulty and the ebay item i had sourced from a Seat car was fiited my mechanic and bingo all is well again!

total cost of parts/labour was 55 which iconsider very reasonable since the part alone form vw is 120 quid.

it was plug and play and i erased code 00929 using vag.com and the code has not come back.
