could someone tell me a ballpark figure for how much it will be to insure my golf 1.6 cl auto 5dr?
im 17 and it will be my first car  :laugh:

We have not dealt with drivers under 19 for as long as i can remember (worked here about 9yrs now) so i dont really know the going rate for 17yr olds atm.

Try a few comparison sites like confused.com or moneysupermarker maybe?

1.6 - i'm thinkin your prob going to be paying between £1200 and £2000. new drivers seem to get bent over these days!

You have got to be a nutta to pay anything like £5K for insurance !  :shocked:

Whats sort of prices have you found? Just interested is all
