Hi everybody, New to Vw and now own a mkv golf gti.
It's a steel grey three door with cloth trim and 18" monzas.
I've been a huge Bmw fan for the past fifteen years and this is my first Vw ever and first front wheel drive for over fifteen years, I've got to say the golf is a decent and involving drive after my previous motor which I sold and dare I say down graded a little to fund a property renovation.
I've just had the car a full over haul including, cam belt, tenshioners, water pump, cam follower, discs and pads, oil, filter, air filter, brake fluid, Passat subframe bolts, wheels refurbed, paint work, front bumper and a couple of scratches done.
My future plans are to upgrade the brakes and suspension and possibly a remap if I can find the right one.
I've also just seen that one of the sponsors on here is very local to me so that might prove handy.
I shall try to put up some pictures of the Golf and and a few previous cars of interest.
