I think you get the point.
Great set of photos from someone first time out with a DSLR.
Go wild with it.
But try not to let the results become too contrived, too quickly - keep off the effects etc on Photoshop, unless you really know what you're doing.
Love your use of depth of focus and composition already has very positive signs - looks to me as if you're thinking about the photos, rather than shooting the sh*t out of stuff. This could be why you're getting good results straight outta the box. Keep using time to build the photo as you get more adept with the camera - it will keep your photos higher quality.
I have no idea what the tanks and the rail are doing in among those photos, but as you may start to appreciate - not all shots work!
Edit hard and keep your standards high and have fun!
