Right lads, firstly apologies as my mgp hasn't really improved, I thought it did but after going cheshire on Sat and only getting 45ish mpg it's still the same and that was with using Millers aswell.
So as i've got the car scanned with no probs showing, changed the maf no difference to mpg but smoother acceleration now, and also using diesel cleaning treatment, i'm not gonna bother now and just live with it as trying to sort it out and find the prob is doing my Parus caeruleus in now
Maybe a map in future, so hopefully that may improve things but that is probably later this year perhaps.
I don't feel wounded that I changed my MAF though as it's made the drive better as it doesn;t have as many flat spots and accelerates better now. So as Rhyso has previously stated do that test first bfore you change your maf unless you wanna change it anyway like a serviceable part.
