iv just activated my full version of VAG COM :evil:.. does any1 have a link or some info on a "how to's" on performing the different actions like auto windows, door beep etc... :smiley:
as i dont want to mess about with as i know i can damage something now :lipsrsealed:

the full version never cost me nothing.. yep got the blue cable of ebay and its actually very good quality and does the job fine! :smug:
i can pm you how to get the full version if you like once you got a cable.. its great piece kit to have... i checked out rosstech not much info of how to do it ..what i need is a more step by step or basic how to's. :sad:

iv just activated selective locking for all doors to open with one press of the key fob :cool:
BUT when i tried to go into "35 - Cent. Locking for manual window cars" option on VAG COM it says "error- control module not repsonding" or some crap :angry: anyone know what is is :cry:
i need this so i can do the auto windows, beep and stuff :cry:

its only for cars with manual windows - i would have thought if you have a GTI you have ELECTRIC windows hence why VAGCOM won't communicate

now we're getting somewhere - there's a reason why VAGCOM has different modules for different cars.......
you need this procedure for alarm beep
Lock/Unlock Horn/Flash:
[Select]
[46 - Cent. Conv.] [Adaptation - 10]
Channel (03..08)
Adaptation Value (1 = on, 0 = off)
[Save]
Channel 03 Auto Lock
Channel 04 Auto Unlock
Channel 05 Unlock, horn sounds
Channel 06 Lock, horn sounds
Channel 07 Unlock, turn signals flash
Channel 08 Lock, turn signals flash
and you should know by now that VAGCOM WILL NOT enable auto windows.................

Is it easy enough to do then?
Can you change it to auto lock after a period of time? Say you walk away from car and forget to lock it have it lock after 30 secs?

no you can't do that
only time it relocks itself is if you unlock the car and then don't open the doors or boot. It will relock after approx 30 seconds

i just did all the unlock and horn sounds.. the beep when you lock and unlock car is awesome :shocked: sounds like you got a cobra alarm beep on the car :cool: ... im well chuffed with it :cool:
i tried doing the beep on my mates leon and it came out farty :laugh:

i dont think you can either as VAG tacho reads a complete different software doesnt it?? as the VAG COM is for reading fault codes and accessing your control modules :smiley:

on an AGU - unlikey as it will be fitted with an Immob 2 clocks.

i got the cable from ebay and i've tryed using the program but it is not connecting propley through the program to the car? It says car not iso/0BD II compatible?!
