Golf Mark V due February 2004?

I am due to order a new company car. My current lease is up in Jan 2004.

Any ideas when VW are likely to start accepting orders for the new Mark 5 based on previous experience?

any advice appreciated.

I read in the latest Autoexpress that the Mark V was on sale in December, so I would imagine you could place an order prior to this date, but it would be worth checking.

Only had my Mark 4 for a month, but would like to change for a Mark v when I know a little more about it.

I believe there will be a revised version of the R32, aswell as a 2.8 v6 4 motion which may wel, get n R badge aswell.

Do you know any more?

Due to company car tax.

The Mark 4 model I would have been interested in was the GTi TDI 150 PD.

I was told when I popped into VW that the new version is going to be 175bhp.  Also that the top end model I presume the R32 might be 240bhp.

yes it is.

maybe he said 270bhp I cant remember what the dealer said.
