Yeah hopefully I can get it sorted quickly.

I live between Durham and Newcastle.

I take it you take your cars on the track then.

I would check the battery - if you have one in an other car - try changing it over.

When I got my golf, alarm was doing the same thing - battery would only keep a very small charge - enough for one start - and then the alarm went mental.

Worth checking before you start messing with the alarm system. Try and find out what make it is. If you remove the trim around the steering wheel colum, they may be a reciever box with a make and/or model no and you may be able to find out how to reset, etc.

I will check that out tomorrow after work.

Tried jump leads but wouldn't start, had to bump it after disconnecting alarm.

Yeah I bet it will be fun, I would love to be able to do a track day.

Suppose you have to have total confidence in your car to go flat out around a track tho.

If it didnt start with a jump then could be your alarm. An auto lecy may disconnect for a hour of labour.

most track days are full of novices mate you dont have to take your car to the limits to have fun theres some people on here who are really clued up about it and take it serious! I drive how i do on the roads with a bit more attitude  you can buy insurance for track days aswell for £100+ so its not to bad and you have a luagh if anything else its not about winning
