Title: Mk3 8V GTI Clutch Has had it?

Hi
Im pretty sure my clutch is going, Going down the road 2day!! Loads and loads of smoke. so i pulled over!!! bonnet up!!! Shed loads of smoke coming from the gearbox area, it stunk!!!! So ive jumped back in the car, put it into gear! clutch up gently!! pulled away to a crunching noise drove up the road changing gear was a bit juddery. Anyway any one know how much a new one is gonna cost me (roughly) fitted?? Anyone know anybody reliable??? in cambs???

I say you buy the clutch kit and get mechanics to fit. cheaper that way.

sorry dont know price. i was gonna say they cost about 70 ish :rolleyes:
