hello! :smiley:

just bought a mk2 GTI 8v on a 88 plate!
its quite well modified but looks nice and neat, not like a boy racer car!
its got the usual stuff, big bumpers, g60 arches, single wiper, motor bike filler cap, late spec interior, so on and so on,

well, thats me! *waves*?

is there many members in the teeside area? and is there any regular meets etc in the area?

stuuu.......? (its also my first golf so and advice on stuff to look for would be nice)

Sound choice for your first golf, hope you have lots of fun with it.
The forum has about a couple of meets each year usually in the lincoln area. Quite a few members also make a weekend of it at the larger shows (inters, action etc).

Get yourself some pics uploaded into the gallery and let's see that beast of yours.

Im from South Shields,not too far from u really,about 45-1hr drive?!
Think theres usually a meet in Whitley Bay,cant really remember specifics?!

not to sure about buying the first meeting tho?

and some guy i was talking to was saying about a gti meeting in harrogate on monday? was wondering if any1 else knew anything more?

i'll get some pics posted up next week! been working all weekend so int had chance yet!

Hedfree, I think that might be a Club Gti meet in Harrogate. Are you up this way then, I'm in Leeds ?
