HI
I'M NEW TO THE SITE AND THE VW SCENE BUT THINK THAT THE FOLLOWING IS GREAT.
I'VE JUST BOUGHT A 99T GOLF GTI 1.8T 20V IN BURNT ORANGE WHICH CAME WITH AUDI RS WHEELS AND A CHIP.
PLANS ARE TO ADD AN R32 BUMPER, A RECIRCULATING DUMP VALVE AND A REVO RE-MAP.
I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SHOWS NEXT YEAR AND MANY HOURS ON THE SITE ;D

welcome mate, loving the colour  8)
what chip is it you have ? reason i ask is it may be just as good as the revo you have planned already. if you're changing to revo for the choice of SPS1 (to change from stock to performance mode via a switch) you might have problems with flashing the revo code over the non-standard chip !

THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAYS THAT IT'S A SUPERCHIP BUT HE'S GOING TO SEND ME THE PAPERWORK.
I'M TOLD THAT IT PRODUCES AROUND 185 BHP BUT I WANT A LITTLE MORE.
I POPPED INTO BIG BOYS TOYS WHO SAID THAT THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THE REVO BUT THE'LL NEED TO CONFIRM WHAT THE CHIP IS.

superchip have a wavey reputation with 1.8T engines, and although a revo flash on your car would see 190 ish bhp (5bhp more) the driveability will be greatly improved, with a massive whack of torque right where you need it  8) good choice !
