hi the names paddy.
 ive been working on my golf for quite a while now and at last its road legal.. quick list is as follows

1.mk1 gti with 2.0 8v conversion
2.twin dcoe45s
3.tim styles big valve head
4.fast road cam
5.full brake conversion
6.full powerflow stainless exhaust
body...
1.debaged
2.mk4 polo silver
3.NO BODYKIT (STILL LOOKS LIKE A SWEET MK1)
4.15inch smiths rims
5.crosshair european headlights
6.smoked rear lights
interior
1.new cut carpet
2.retrimmed seats(original mk1)
3.new headlining
4.door cards and pannels covered to suit colour scheme

ive only just started on the ice. any advice would be cool.

i love my little toy and it realy upsets the local boyracers ;D ;D ;D

i would put some piccys on here but i cant work out how.
hopefully ill be chatting to yawl soon... cheers paddy 8)

Welcome to the site paddy, sounds like you've done loads of work there and it sounds sweet. Don't you just love mk1s !  ;D

You can upload pictures in the gallery, click on the gallery button above and then click upload picture but they have to wait until they are approved by admin. If you want to post pics on a thread you need some web space somewhere with the pic and then place the URL between some "[img ][/ img]" tags (Click the picture below the "Italic" button when replying to a thread to put your img tags in), hope this helps.  :)

Welcome to the site Paddy, look forward to seeing your car.

I love mk1s, used to have a 4 speed 1.3 but couldn't afford a desent GTi so I ended up being a Mk2 convert. ;D
