Well I reconnected the battery after a month or so stood in the garage to find the fans were stuck on.
I thought the car was suffering from the typical fan relay controller fault. I was cursing and looking into fault finding and replacement cost when I noticed a blade fuse in the footwell...
Hmmmm! Why's that there?
It was fuse #16.
When looking into the causes I had read that fuse #16 can cause the fans to stick on!
Refitted the fuse and fans fixed.
Talking with my son (7) who had been sat in the car the other day, he was fiddling around and randomly decided to pull the fuse.
No harm done. Little monkey! :D
