Stock to Highly Modded in 3 Weeks
« on: 25 October 2019, 15:25 »
So finally posting some pics up of my daily.

Bought completely stock in August but had some nice options ticked. Was one of the cleanest I’d seen too and looked stunning in white with the pano roof.

The plan was to keep it stock as it’s my daily but once a modder, always a modder.

A car came up for sale in early September that had some superb mods on it and I asked if the seller would be interested in selling the exhaust only. He didn’t want to as wanted the car to go as a whole.

So I crazily bought the car instead and then spent 3 weeks swapping everything over

This is how she started out:

And a nice comparison with the newly acquired modded one:

And how she is now:

The list of mods is substantial and all are genuine high end items so made sense to buy the car and swap the mods.

^Lolz, so couldn't just take the parts off again?

Looking good rajb and buying a whole second car is definitely one way to do it! What's the spec on the bonnet?

Ruined it

 personally don’t think so but hey.

Only thing I’m going to most likely do is change the wheel colour if not the actual rims. Never been a huge fan of black wheels.

Thanks as I do like the overall look.

The bonnet is a RevoZport Razor 7 full CF one. Underside is still left CF.

Just need to refit the KW DDC wiring system to activate the suspension again.

The full Akra system sounds superb too.

Looking good so far Raj, not a patch on your E92 though, that's on an other level.

Whats next for the Golf?

Cheers buddy.

Agreed the E92 is a proper individual motor. Took it out yesterday and still just had so much presence.

Golfs gone in to Russ@Midland Car Care to have a full front end PPF done. Should get it back tomorrow. Some pics on FB of the work in progress.

After that, not sure as tbh even what I’ve done so far wasn’t meant to happen lol.

Looking good - admittedly the bonnet's not to my taste (but it'd be boring if we all liked the same thing and I'm more of an OEM+ kind of guy) but liking everything else.

Thanks for the kind words.

Yeah I was unsure about the bonnet too but tbf in the flesh it actually does look quite good.

And it matches my M3 bonnet now lol.
