coming from owning various turbo cars mainly with a RS badge and most of them running big hybrid turbos the most powerfull being my RS500 spec 452bhp sapphire 4x4 cosworth with a huge T4 turbo!the lag is the worst thing....thats what i loved about the K03s 1.8T it spools up nice from very low revs making a great drivers car......its not all about bhp figures its more about how the car delivers it across the rev range!!

yeah does look sgood for the money but as you say the KO3s gives you nice power down low and all teh way throgh the revs, would hate to have to wait half a day for it to build up enough bost to fit i cant plant my foot anyways as im at the speed limit

the golfs are good for smaller turbos, biggest i would get would be a k04, a guy i know has a mk 4 with a big garrett gtrs something on it, my brother (in his s3 225)whipped round him and was off before his turbo had even spooled, theyre too laggy to do anything with...........supercharge and a big turbo....hmmmmmmm
