brake and clutch bleeding
« on: 16 November 2009, 17:54 »
hi all,
shoot me now before i ask but........................

does it make any difference bleeding the brakes and clutch without the car running???????

the reason i ask is ,i thought i did a good bleeding the brakes and clutch without the engine running.

then i started the car up and had no brakes ,so re-bleed them with the car running...and what a difference....loads of air came out,and now they stop me on a sixpence.
(hopefully might have sorted my clutch pedal problem aswell?????)

is this the norm????? i have never done it like this before on a car or bike.

cheers in advance
pat.
