Engine removal - Car with Aircon
«

Guys what do recommend as the best way to remove an 8v engine?
I've read a few threads and there seems to be a split between complete engine and box removal or leaving the box in situ.
I'm compounded by the fact I've got aircon and don't really what to take the front end off disturbing the aircon pipes and condensor if possible.
Any suggestions? Any good reference thread with pics.

remove the aircon compressor from the engne, disconnect driveshafts, gear linkage, all pipes and wires and then lift engine and box out together.
