Sound deading

I not sure how far to go with my sound deading. Im using dynamat extreme. I want save weight as wel so where is most effective?  :shocked:

wow i have never even been of this bit of the forum, i have no idea about sound deading it doesnt make you go faster thats all i know. sorry

neither do smart assed comments!

i'd do the doors first as the floor should have some kind of sound proofing, plus the carpet. the doors will cut down on alot of road noise.

I think any large expanse of flat panel is good... So yeah, doors first, then the rear quarters, then the roof... but be careful when you do that bit - the spray is rumoured to be better for there...

These are where you will get a definite improvment.

A bit overboard in my opinion dizzie doing the inner skin too. Has anyone done the bulkhead?

How much is dynamat, I've noticed my MK3 is abit loud, and want to make it quiter but I'm on a budget.

If your on a budget then use www.fatmat.co.uk its exactly the same as the stuff dizzie used above but much cheaper.
