Can you protect your screen from scratches? Coating wise I find a couple of applications of Gtechniq C2v3 excellent, water beads and runs off easily and helps to keep it clean. No issues with wiper judder either, if anything they run more smoothly.

Was - 2015 Tornado Red 3dr GTI PP, manual, Santiagos, Audi short shifter.

With all my car (and boat) windscreens I have applied Rainex every spring and autumn.

When I lived in Algarve the horrendous dust out there used to just slide down the glass.
On a boat screen the spray gets blown off by the wind leaving a smear free surface.
A single bottle will last two cars a couple of years easy.
Highly recommended.

My present car was Pro detailed from new so I haven't a clue what product was applied but I am going to use Rainex on the rear window for a comparative trial.

Tip; Its good on house windows as well!

G Techniq G1

Apply in vertical lines to avoid any glare at night (when wet)

Apply a coating and you wont need your wipers, therefore negating scratches
