Volume been turned down?

Car went into dealer for first service yesterday which was oil change and health check. Nothing else was requested but since I got it back its a lot quieter.......not sure if anything they've done software wise has altered settings for volume of exhaust system (if it can be adjusted).

Does the GTD have soundaktor internally as well?

Also noticed that when in sport the steering seems lighter than what I'm used to.  Will check to see if they've increased the tyre pressures.

Any other thoughts?

  n.b.  I'm pressing sport and normal then sport before I move off.

I find when I turn from normal to sport mode my steering gets heavier, I don't like sport mode at all

That'll be massively annoying if they have altered the sound, it's great at the moment. Have to get the VCDS guys on the case otherwise.

Using VCDS any ideas where I find settings for the exhaust system.  I assume it will be separate to the soundaktor option which I've seen mentioned in the VCDS thread and will read thru to find when I get a sec

Why are you pressing Sport, Normal and Sport before moving off?

In VCDS, controller A9 is for the internal soundaktor, with settings between 0 & 100% in adaptation channels

Controller C0 is for the external speaker for the sport and sound package, with settings between 0 & 100% in adaptation channels

Whats the default values for the internal and external soundaktor?

They were both 100% when my car was delivered, before I turned the internal one down to 20%

To ensure everything is deffo in sport mode.  Peeps have had issues with starting up in sport but feeling that engine/throttle response is sluggish as if it were in normal despite sport indicated and that by selecting normal then sport before moving off sorts this.  I've just got into the habit of doing it.......might be a placebo effect thing
