Ordered GTD Yesterday

I ordered my GTI on Wednesday and am currently waiting for my order number to track it. I was told around the 16 week mark which isn't ideal but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

In the mean time just have to look at all the nice ones on here!

I take it you mean week 16 is your build date and not your collection date.

I meant I was told it was around 16 weeks from ordering it. Haven't been given an exact week yet

Same here but i was told that i would get a tracking number on monday. If i havent heard anything by 5pm they will be getting a phone call.

Is the sport and sound just 2 speakers and red calipers?

No it's red calipers and a speaker in the actual exhaust which sounds really good and gives the car a nice growl inside and out when in sport mode

Have you got your order number yet? I have just got mine and plugged it into the tracker. I was told week 22 for build. So looking around June as expected. Gonna be a long few months.

Not yet called the dealer tonight and they are going to call back with the order code in the morning. He reckons it will be 3 months so maybe end of may.

Finally got my order number and it is now saying that it is with the factory. Is it normal for it just to tell you the colour and interior colour? My keyless entry isn't showing.

Can't wait until I get a build week now.

Yeh it is i think! Mine is the same and the dealer confirmed my spec with me. Even the upholstery colour says titan black which is bit strange although apparently everyones say this. Is yours manual or DSG?

Mine is manual, noticed the Titan black as well. I have also noticed that I get more detail with the tracker when I am not logged in. When I log I just get a photo of a container.
