Since i have had my mk4 the radio has not received any signal or if it does it is very weak, this morning i installed my new head unit and plugged in the aerial into the back of the radio and it still did not work, so that eliminated the possibility that it could be the original radio being faulty. I then opened the boot and ripped off the roof lining that covers the aerial to find that the plug from the aerial just dangling there with no cable attached to it so i took off the pillar covers a bit to see if i could find a wire that it is meant to connect to but nothing
does anybody have any idea where i can look for the wire or where abouts in the car it runs as i dont want to start taking the interior apart to find out that its on the other side,..
