MFD resets itself
« on: 08 November 2019, 20:19 »
For the past week, the display resets itself randomly i'd think - last 2 times, it did that right after i refuelled.  Before that i hadn't had the issue.  My next service won't be taking place for another 5 months or so and i'd hate to drive to the dealer just to fix this.  Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you got the display showing correctly in the MFD? Current, since last fuel up or long term (something like that).
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

I believe so, yes.  Numbers seem to add up since last refuel - only issue as far as I can tell is the resetting at the car's whim

Can you explain what you mean about the MFD resetting?

You mean the display between the speedo and the rev counter yes?

What data was it showing before it "reset" and what after? Different data - eg was it on phone and then showed speed or do you mean it was showing long term fuel figures and these values changed back to a different, lower figure?

yes, the average consumption/speed etc display (long term, since last refuel, since start).  Resetting in the sense that all my long term averages are zero'd usually every refueling. This is something that under normal circumstances should only happen if i manually reset all values.

This has been asked before, and no answers came up. I have been putting up with it, but it is annoying. Has anyone found a way to disable it?

It comes up everytime it connects and on a recent car, its doing that with the esim.

I guess if it comes up multiple times in the journey, its because its lost signal...
