Had opcom for Vauxhall's, looking at buying Vagcom as we have MK4 & MK5 Golf's in the family. Plus i see it as a bit of an investment, even if a costly one initially.

One at £270 for just the basics
Then one at £350 for the basics plus "extra adapters" & such.
What are these extra adapters? Are they needed?
If it's really worth it then i'll go for that one but i'd like to know what the extra £80 is for & does it REALLY need to be spent?

The cheaper one will do all that you will ever need
Had mine for about 8 years now; made my money back easily

Thanks
Is that a suitable website to buy from (ilexa.co.uk)? I'm aware of fakes so i wouldn't want to be shelling out that sort of money only to pick up a copy.

Can't comment on that seller as I've never used them
A number of people have bought from here :) again I can't comment as i had mine through a group buy deal and paid £175 delivered

we have 4 genuine cables from ilexa in our workshop, they even repaired my original cable that i bought from ross-tech in the states years ago. Nothing dodgy about them, I believe the main guy's name is Derek.

Thanks.
In the end i bought from gendan as there were more shouts for that company online so i played safe.
Need to get the thing installed now then.
