Title: Help identifying this clip

Hi

Can anyone help identify this clip found in the passenger foot well of my golf gti mk 7.5 performante. Thought it was a trim clip but can't see anywhere where its missing. Anyone know what and where it goes?

Is your car a manual? It looks very much like the stop for the clutch pedal.

It's not a manual it's a dsg I'll try that other link you sent cheers.
