According to a translator Hohlraumkonservierung means "Cavity preservation"
mmm, online translaters not that good then.

i have it on good authority thats translated correctly  :laugh:

erm i have no idea what my colour is apart from grey..

Dont know if this is right but VW told me mine was - Y8Y8 RC India Red Pearl Effect, doesnt start with the usual L like the others :S

hi guys im new here and would like some help with a paint code if possible, ive bought a 1993 golf mk3 driver in dark metalic grey/black, the car has been dynomatted in the boot and whoever did it has covered up the sticker with the code on it, would any of you vw gods have an idea of the code ? i need to do some bodywork and am desparate for the paint code, thanks guys

try looking in the front cover of your service book (If you still have it) there should be a duplicate sticker to the one in the boot stuck there, or, try phoning a VW dealers quoting your reg No, and asking for the code, failing that, post a pic in the Mk3 boat section, and they can have a bloody good guess :wink:
