Hey, not a golf but still, my mates added a new head unit to his passat and he got a 8 quid reverse camera kit which plugs into it. From the unit end, everything's fine, click into reverse and the unit knows and awaits the video feed. the other end near the camera is a red wire anda red and black wire if we connect them to a battery the camera and LED's turn on and the camera works.
I assume it needs power ideally from the reverse light but the wiring isn't as clear as when i worked on mk2 golfs and im not electrician.
Anyone got any idea what to link these wires up to exactly?
