Snifferdogs retro Renault.......
« on: 22 July 2012, 21:03 »
Picked this up today. I owned one a long time ago and loved it. They're a hoot to drive.

It's in mint condition, treated underneath, full service history etc etc.

1.8 16v and 140bhp.

I know a lot of you guys don't like Renault but still feel free to voice your opinion.

It's the replacement mate. The zr took a beating off a freak hailstorm a couple of weeks ago and I lost interest. It just looked so battered.

I really thought i would have, I was looking at Valvers and vr's. Thing is, I always liked the old clio/19 16v's and Williams. They've got a lot of character and are really food fun to drive.

I had a saloon 19 Williams about 8/9 years ago. It was quite a nice car actually and went round the twistys really well. Just a shame it was pretty unreliable and made of papier mache.

I've never got the 'poor build quality' thing. It feels really nice and sturdy to me, especially after having owned an mg before it. That thing just fell apart as you drove it haha.
