Rain should be doing the opposite ie making it quieter as it lubricates the boot. 🤷‍♂️

The water must be causing the rubber to stick rather than lubricating, i’ve only noticed it after heavy rain/flooding!

They are made from a different material so maybe they do get noisier when wet.
