Re-mapping my golf?
« on: 11 May 2016, 23:36 »
So, DemonTweeks have a remap for £350. It claims to add around 50 to 80 bhp, 70 torque and also make fuel use less.
Just checking in to see if this is a wise move? No issues etc? I have MK5 golf gti 2 litre petrol 2006.

Is it a custom rolling road remap, I've had my mk6 gti remapped and it's a completely different car now, its only got an induction kit and it made 269 bhp, up from 224 before he started tweaking it.

It has made a big difference to the way it drives, though I would only bother with a proper custom remap on a rolling road.

I would recommend it.
